CC Novel Cover The following is based on the spin off novel by Keith R. A. DeCandido and might contradict canon.

Annabella Wu was a W3N reporter during the Third Tiberium War.

Background[]

Wu lived within the Bronx Blue Zone, mostly reporting news within the Blue zone prior to the TW3. Up to the beginning of the war, one of her most notable reports was demonstrating the importance of preserving playgrounds and parks. However, Wu wanted to be a war reporter, but was consider too inexperienced.

Character development[]

With the Philadelphia's destruction, and the death of Jasmine Martinez, Ms. Wu career began to move forward. W3N received a request from Acting Director-General Boyle to do a report on the Yellow zones. Wu agreed, and went to the city of Atlanta to report her findings. The experience profoundly affected her, seeing the hard conditions Yellow zone residents faced, especially against Tiberium. During her trip, Annabella was approached by a Nod recruiter called "Mr. Anspaugh" in an attempt to recruit her.

After returning to the Bronx, Wu presented her report to her producer Penny Sookdeo. However, Sookdeo edited out Wu's mention of Anspaugh for several reasons. One of these reasons was to give information about the Nod Recruiter to GDI InOps, in exchange to have a Field Reporer travelling with the troops. Although Anabella protested at first, she agreed, in exchange of becoming a War Reporter.

Wu was allowed to travel with the 22nd Infantry Division, specifically a unit under the command of Ricardo Vega. During her time with the 22nd, she interviewed various 22nd personnel.

Appearances[]

Annabella Wu appears only in the novel Tiberium Wars.
