Where the heck did that thing come from?!
- An unidentified Nod soldier after the Arcus enters the battlefield(src)

The Arcus was an experimental bomber developed by the Global Defense Initiative. It saw deployment near the end of the Fourth Tiberium War.

Description[]

The Arcus was heavily armed: an array of chainguns and particle beam cannons gave it 360-degree coverage (and extreme firepower, capable of downing Basilisks in seconds), while high explosive bombs made short work of anything on the ground.

Arcus also had VTOL capability, able to land on the ground and deploy troops from its spacious cargo bay.

History[]

When Kane moved to Ground Zero in order to activate Threshold 19, GDI General Wesley Riggs deployed the Arcus against him, which easily destroyed all of Nod's Crawlers save for the one controlled by Commander Parker.

Parker's forces engaged the Arcus and ultimately managed to destroy it before GDI could wrest control of the Tiberium Control Network away.

Game unit[]

The Arcus only appeared in the final mission of the Nod campaign, The End of All Things. It served as the final boss of the stage and had to be destroyed before TCN control is lost to complete the stage.
