This article is about the Tiberium Alliances unit. For the Tiberium Wars unit, see Avatar (Tiberium Wars). |
The Avatar is a heavy anti-vehicle mechanized walker of Nod in Tiberium Alliances.
Game unit[]
Featuring a powerful laser, the Avatar will eliminate anything that stands in its path, armored or not.
The Avatar's upgrade, Conversion, allows the Avatar to gain health from damage dealt to enemy vehicles. The upgrade itself is very expensive, meaning only a few high ranking Nod commanders will ever get the Avatar to its full potential.
Assessment[]
Pros:
- Tough against Vehicles.
- Can take a lot of damage
- Conversion is brutal, as it also increases damage of a damaged Avatar. (Damaged units deal less damage themselves, so the "repair" of the Avatar boosts damage output as well.)
Cons:
- Weak against higher level anti-vehicle defenses, especially infantry.
- Range is 1.5, meaning light vehicles will get the first strike.
