Channel 2 was a television channel active in the 1990s. In the game intro of Tiberian Dawn, it reported how the Brotherhood of Nod had a significant advantage by holding almost half of the world’s Tiberium. Later it revealed rumors of GDI developing satellite-based laser weapons (later revealed to be an Ion cannon) able to wipe out entire armies. It is unknown what happened to the news channel after the war. Presumably it had been shut down and superseded by another channel to cover news stories.
