Command & Conquer: Generals - Combat Cards was a singleplayer online card game released in 2003 to promote Command & Conquer: Generals.
Gameplay[]
The gameplay of Combat Cards is based on the classic card game Top Trumps. It features units from Generals as playing cards, with each unit having four attributes: firepower, speed, cost, and build time.
Both the human player and the AI opponent shuffle their decks and select their top card. The player is the first to pick an attribute. Whoever has the better value in that attribute - highest in the case of firepower and speed, and lowest in the case of cost and build time - wins the round and gets the opponent's card. If both player and opponent have the same value, the round is a draw and both top cards are put aside. The winning player of the next round would receive both cards. Whoever runs out of cards first will lose the game.
Players can choose a deck based on one of the three factions from Generals: the United States, China, and the Global Liberation Army. Each deck has 12 cards, with attribute values based on unit stats from the main game.[1]
