Automobile Ferry

The Automobile Ferry is a transport ferry briefly used by both China and the GLA. These ferries only appear in campaigns and on some custom maps. They can only be selected to move to a specific area and back. They cannot be selected to go somewhere else.

History[]

During the Hong Kong Crisis, the ferry owner allowed the Chinese forces to use his ferry in transporting troops to the main GLA stronghold at the Convention Center. Later in the conflict as the GLA secretly penetrated through American soil, they forced a ferry to transport their troops from one island to the other.

Trivia[]

The Automobile Ferry resembles the ones used by Star Ferry, a popular passenger ferry operator based in Hong Kong.
The ferries in game can transport vehicles, especially tanks. In real life however these ferries can only transport passengers.
