Does anyone know where I can find the userboxes for this wiki? I'm new around here. Thanks!

Oh, and please, anyone, answer ASAP!!! GwannaSauna 05:45, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Finally, here's your answer: User:The.Dreadnought/Userboxes. (More are found in "category:userboxes.") Feel free to copy the code in it for using them, or just make a table, and insert "{{template:User whatever}}". (Ask if you want to know what they are.) When I've made the completion and antifandom ones, their syntax is {{template:User com game}} and {{template:User hate game}}, respectively. I just finished making all those. And more will come soon. Someone had to do it, damnit. (Hey, you didn't quite have to wait a whole year.) The.DreadnoughT 02:10, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Right, and... stop. I sense the current way of doing things is just leading up to an excuse to create a userbox for every unit, structure, CnC-related concept, and non-CnC-related concept. I suggest something that will be somewhat more useful.

Starting from scratch, userboxes should mark "achievements", like campaign and challenge completion. Extra ones can be made to denote relative par time and difficulties.

"Played CnC/other game ", "like/hate game/unit", and that sort of thing aren't needed. - Meco (talk) 06:19, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

It's not played <game>, it's completed <game>, which is an achievement, last I checked. The {{user MTNK}} one was considered "miscellaneous" for a reason, as it's not a "serious" userbox (but this isn't supposed to be a totally serious wiki, either, and is a little humor that unwelcome?) As for the usefulness, the six variants each of "This user has a pet Tiberium Fiend" and "This user is a Visceroid" (the pre-existing userboxes before I started making them) are more useful? Why not have single userbox that can be customised, for example:
Code entered Output produced
{{Custom Userbox
|bordercolor=Black
|textbg=Blue
|imagebg=Blue
|image=CNCTW Kane.png
|fontcolor=Black
|text=This user...
}}

CNCTW Kane This user...
Template:Userbox works in much the same way, except that it is slightly harder to configure. --EightyOne (talk) 11:07, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Problem solved: {{User custom}} (we should be using proper userbox template naming syntax, which is {{User whatever}} is now finished, and the explanation of use is there too. The.DreadnoughT 16:43, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

I've whipped up Template:UserBox. Give it a whirl and see if it has the functionality you want. If there are suggestions I'll see what can be done. - Meco (talk) 15:03, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
