The GDI High Command was the main headquarters for the Global Defense Initiative from before the First Tiberium War to March 2047. From 2047 onward, it was turned into the GDI Central Command at Washington DC in the United States of America.
Tiberium Universe[]
The GDI High Command was located at the United Nations Military Command Center during the First Tiberium War. As Francis Weatherell took control of Britain's government, she appointed Brigader General Adam Locke to be Supreme Commander of all GDI forces and take control of the Command Center in New York City. The UN Military Command Center turned itself to the United Nations Security Council where American General James Solomon was appointed to control all GDI forces in the vicinity of the Second Tiberium War. Paul Cortez temporarily assumed GDI global command during the Firestorm Conflict. In 2047, Zachary Harkin was immediately appointed as the last Supreme GDI Commander to deal with Nod's Second Reunification War and half of the Third Tiberium War. Harkin had perished along with Lia Kinsburg inside the Philadelphia when William Frank said an accident was declared on the ship. Kane said no accident was planned, but a Nuclear Missile to the head to cause war around the United States.
