Hunter was a GDI captain who flew a Firehawk in the years leading up to the Third Tiberium War.
Biography[]
Captain Hunter was stationed near the Pentagon, which served as GDI's headquarters, during the outbreak of the Third Tiberium War in 2047. He attempted to provide air support to GDI ground forces in their attempt to repel the Nod invaders, but was overwhelmed by Nod Venoms and his Firehawk was critically damaged. His Firehawk unfortunately crashed only meters from the Pentagon, not far from the strike team that would eventually complete the mission in his stead.
Though Captain Hunter did not live to see the retaking of the Pentagon, and eventually the rest of GDI's installations in the United States, he was ultimately avenged when the GDI commander launched a retaliatory campaign against the would-be invaders and destroyed Nod's own headquarters.
Though not much was known about Hunter, his position as a Captain and his occupation as a Firehawk pilot spoke volumes of his capability as a soldier.

Captain Hunter was audibly recognized by one of the infantrymen dispatched to retake the Pentagon.
