Lia Kinsburg was GDI's Director-General prior to the Third Tiberium War.

History

She was GDI's Director-General in 2047, and was killed while attending the Annual Energy Summit on the GDSS Philadelphia. She was latter succeeded by Director Redmond Boyle.

	The following is based on the spin off novel by Keith R. A. DeCandido and might contradict canon.

Of Danish descent, Kinsburg was in her middle age at the time of the Summit. According the W3N reporters, Kinsburg stated that one key goals of the conference was allocating resources to ecology instead of military defense.

Kinsburg originally was against shifting resources to ecology from military defense. She only changed her mind because many of the directors desired it, Kinsburg sudden change of heart was met with contempt by some, as she took much credit for the resonator project, despite her initial dislike of it.

Known for her "flat tooth smiled" that she would give the press to satisfy them, Kinsburg was politically savvy as the face of GDI.

• Kinsburg's first name was only mentioned in the Tiberium Wars novel. She was only referred to as "Director Kinsburg" in the game itself.
