A lone gunman is a character in the Tiberian Twilight motion comic.
Overview[]
During Evelyn Rios' election rally, a Nod insurgent draws a pistol and, proclaiming the glory of the Brotherhood, attempts to kill the secretary-to-be. He is quickly disarmed by Christian Pierce. This act jumpstarts his GDI career.[1]
The gunman was not acting alone. He was deliberately sent by Kane and ordered to stand so that Pierce can disarm him. The Nod leader wanted Christian to become one of the top GDI field commanders, so that he'd be able to retrieve the data store for him and the lone gunman was one of many chains in his grand plan.[2]
