While Allied occupying troops are forced to withdraw from the Soviet Union, Premier Romanov initiates a buildup of the Red Army despite restrictions placed on it after the Second Great War, all with one goal in mind: to seek revenge against the Allied Nations.
   
With authorization given by [[Dugan|President Dugan]] and Albert Einstein to eliminate the stolen Time Machine (long thought to have been moved to another position - in fact, it was hidden by Yuri's psychic illusion generators).

Surprisingly, the American nuclear armaments and laser defense platforms are disabled, leaving conventional US military forces as the primary defense of the country. Later, after collecting important information from [[spies ]]in Skaramagas, they've managed to prevent a swarm of brainwashed Russian forces into assaulting Europe from the [[USSR]] to Iceland. It would also be possible to evacuate Albert Einstein from the [[Black Forest]] in [[Germany (Red Alert)|Germany]] to Alaska, leaving [[Great Britain]] to be alone in Yuri's brain to invade as the last Allied nation, left in Europe.
 
 
Einstein was then able to finish the reconstruction of the [[Chronosphere (Red Alert 2)|Chronosphere]] device, which was earlier destroyed in Germany by Soviet forces in order to prevent [[Chrono Storm]] (supposed to be the final way to abolish Soviet reign). The Allies decided to use the elements from the last RA2 mission against the Epsilon army in Moscow.
 
 
===Mind Controlling China (Red Alert)===
 
 
Meanwhile, the Soviets managed to capture an abandoned [[Psychic Amplifier]] in China, which was supposed to be used by Yuri before the famous elimination of the Allies' Peacekeeper sites. This Psychic Amplifier would have granted the Soviets the possibility to crush [[Korea (Red Alert 2)|Korea]] and strike the United States from the east, if it had been used before.
 
 
The long-forgotten device was restored to full functions, and so the Chinese empire fell under mind control of the Soviets. With projects and plans found at the Military Headquarters in [[Beijing]], the incorporation of the Chinese airforce program into Soviet equipments were possible.
 
 
The [[Red Army (RA Universe)|Red Army]] eliminated Epsilon's Nuclear Silos located in China but so too able to finish the construction of a Chinese [[Superweapon (Red Alert)|superweapon]] - the Centurion Siege Crawler. It was presumed that it would be the only way to ignore Yuri's mind control tactics and effectively lay siege to Moscow.
 
 
====Attacking Yuri's Headquarters====
 
 
Yuri's army was successfully pulled out from Europe, [[America (Red Alert)|America]], and eastern [[Asia]]. The army has been limited to its final base in the Soviet Union. By October the 22nd, 1974 is that the Allies launched a chrono infiltration on Moscow (the mission is a déjà vu of the last mission in [[RA2]], due to the changes done with the Time Machine, except Yuri's army replaces the Soviet army).
 
 
While the Allied brigade was there, the Soviets started ruination of the Epsilon fortress at the same location, striking from the west with an [[Mobile construction vehicle (Red Alert 2)|MCV]] supported by a tank division and from the east, using the Centurion Siege Crawler and Chinese forces.
 
 
The Psychic Dominator located near the Kremlin was quickly destroyed, freeing all the remaining Soviet forces within the Soviet Union. With that accomplished, the army of Epsilon was finally crushed. The only problem was that Yuri had no longer been in the Kremlin.
 
 
Yuri's almost perfect plan was yet to be revealed, although due to some technical problems which he didn't expect, it was revealed much faster than it was supposed to. The machine which he built in Antarctica, named the [[Mental Omega]] device, was creating strong energy fields which interrupted functioning of the psychic illusion devices that will shroud the base.

Ironically, Psychic Interrupters had been interrupted, and so the Mental Omega tower was revealed to the Allies and Soviets but they planned an attack on Antarctica (from [[Brain Dead]]).
 
 
The two sides both commenced a full-scale invasion over Antarctica and destroyed the last of Yuri's Epsilon bases as well as the remains of Yuri's army, finishing what was known as the Mental Omega War or the third stage of the second Great War. Yuri himself was found dead in the ruins of the tower.

The Romanov regime in the Soviet Union has slowly turned against their former Allied puppeteers at the introduction of a man named Yuri as Premier Romanov's adviser. The Latin Confederation has taken power in the entirety of South America and Mexico, putting a hostile Communist power right on the doorstep of the United States. And in the far East, Chinese Communists have been consolidating their power over China as the democratic Republic of China goes into exile, putting capitalist nations like South Korea and the newly independent Japan in a tenuous situation. While Allied occupying troops are forced to withdraw from the Soviet Union, Premier Romanov initiates a buildup of the Red Army despite restrictions placed on it after the Second Great War, all with one goal in mind: to seek revenge against the Allied Nations.

The Soviets begin their attack on the United States, believing them to be a great factor of success of the Allies in the Second Great War by supplying the Europeans weapons and supplies. Surprisingly, the American nuclear armaments and laser defense platforms are disabled, leaving conventional US military forces as the primary defense of the country. Meanwhile, the Russians launch an invasion on Europe, absorbing all territory along the way and forcing the Western European nations to once again unite and scramble their forces. And behind all this, Yuri and his shadowy special operations group PsiCorps silently start their own quest for world domination. The Third Great War has begun.
