The Mobile Construction Vehicle (abbreviated as MCV) is an unarmed vehicle used by all three sides in Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge that can deploy into a construction yard.
Changelog
- Red Alert 2 patch 1.002:
- a match with the "Short Game" setting will no longer end if a player only has an undeployed MCV remaining
- losing a construction yard and building a new one from an MCV no longer requires the manual selection of the build tab to refresh the construction options list.
- Red Alert 2 patch 1.004: a glitch preventing the game from ending while an MCV is deployed while infected with a terror drone is fixed.
- Yuri's Revenge patch 1.001: a mind-controlled MCV can no longer be deployed, and a mind-controlled construction yard can no longer undeploy. This is done to bypass the issue of the MCV/construction yard from vanishing once the unit controlling it is killed. MCVs/construction yards controlled by psychic dominator are not affected.
