Plot[]
Lin Zhong informed the Chinese Commander that the GLA cell responsible for its asia-pacific terror activities had been located in Dushanbe, the capital city of Aldastan. In order to destroy this cell, the use of China's nuclear arsenal has been authorized.
A large Chinese ground force marched toward the city. However, GLA commando Jarmen Kell launched an ambush on the Chinese forces in a snowy valley. After Kell killed the lead Red Guard, GLA SCUD launchers launched their payloads against the Chinese formation, throwing it into disarray as the rest of the GLA forces charged. However, Chinese MiGs quickly destroyed the SCUD launchers while the surviving Chinese forces destroyed the GLA ambush party.

Chinese forces parade through Dushanbe
With the help of two surviving construction dozers, the Chinese Commander established a base of operations. Meanwhile, Jarmen Kell escaped and hid himself in a tower in the town center, preparing to snipe any unsuspecting Chinese infantry and vehicle driver that approached. In the main GLA base to the north, protected by many Stinger sites and tunnel networks, the GLA constructed a SCUD storm and prepared to use it against the Chinese forces.
Despite fierce GLA resistance, the Chinese forces eradicated the GLA presence in Dushanbe and held a military parade through the liberated city to celebrate the defeat of the GLA in Asia. However, the GLA as a whole was far from defeated, as China would soon learn...
Walkthrough[]
What you'll start with won't be much, given what happened with your initial assault forces. Upgrade one of your Overlords with a Speaker Tower and another with a Gatling Cannon - these allow them to heal nearby allies and gun down infantry. Once you have beaten off the initial GLA forces, a pair of Dozers will arrive. After your forces are healed, get them moving southeast to a GLA base. Destroy everything but the Supply Stash.
Build a Nuclear Reactor, Command Center, Supply Center and a Barracks. Upgrade the Command Center with a Radar. Do not capture the Supply Stash. Instead, build a War Factory, then a Propaganda Center, so Black Lotus may be produced. Use her Cash Hack ability until she can no longer steal anything, then capture the Supply Stash.
You will not be able to destroy the enemy SCUD Storm before its countdown hits zero, and if your resources ever exceed $5000, it will be fired at your base, so a superweapon duel is out of the question. It is located to the north of the map 3/4 of the way up, halfway across and isn't initially revealed on the Radar. The quickest way to reveal (and destroy) it is to build an airfield and send a couple of MIGs (with the armour upgrade) to its location. They will be shot down but not before revealing the structure which can then be targeted with the artillery barrage- at max level two barrages are enough to destroy it because the GLA for whatever reason won't repair the damaged SCUD Storm, nor will they rebuild it once it's gone.
Try to produce many Hackers for income. The main advantage of Hackers over Black Markets is that they can be ordered to stop at any time, whereas the Black Market cannot. Additionally, getting access to the Black Market is already a feat in itself, as it requires a Palace (which, in turn, can only be constructed in presence of an Arms Dealer). Nevertheless, it must be constructed at some point for the Radar Scan upgrade, which allows Radar Vans to remove fog of war and help pinpointing the SCUD Storm.

The tower in which Jarmen Kell hides
When you move your forces through the town, take note of a brown-colored tower near a GLA Palace, as Jarmen Kell's hiding there to snipe your infantry and vehicles. To remove him from play, spam some Toxin Tractors/Dragon Tanks, engage him at range with artillery/MiGs, or deploy a disguised Bomb Truck. As he is stealthed, force-firing is required.
Black Lotus can be used to sabotage the GLA base once the way is clear. The main assault force should take out the Stinger Sites and Tunnel Networks, but an Artillery Barrage can help too as the AI generally refrains from reconstructing lost structures (unless the resultant GLA Hole is not finished off). With the way clear, she can capture the SCUD Storm quickly, removing the main hurdle in this mission. After that, it's a relatively straightforward task of laying siege to all remaining enemy structures.
Trivia[]
- The parade at the end of the stage is real-time rendered on the map, reflecting any damage to civilian buildings caused during the mission.
