Operation World Watch was a major military operation undertaken by GDI prior to the Second Tiberium War.[1]

The aim of the operation was to enforce GDI sanctions and restrictions in response to Nod provocation. As part of the operation, GDI warplanes fired on two Nod defense sites in southern Chile. According to the GDI Central Command, strikes occurred at 0400 Zulu. Orca bombers and Orca fighters fired precision-guided weapons at air defense sites near Santiago and struck six Nod targets, including surface-to-air-missile batteries and associated command and control systems, according to Lt. Col. Tom Braider, a spokesman for the U.S. Central Command on the Philadelphia. The Orca aircraft returned safely to base.
