Pitbull ready to bite
- Pitbull when selected

The Pitbull is a rare GDI vehicle in Command & Conquer: Rivals.

Background[]

The CC-6 Pitbull is a light and fast reconnaissance vehicle used primarily for harassing enemy formations and defending against enemy aircraft. One of the least armored of GDI's ground units, the Pitbull requires quick maneuvering to stay out of trouble.

Abilities[]

Game unit[]

Fast and versatile, Pitbull is a great answer to light vehicles, like Cyberwheels and Attack bikes as well as light aircraft. The main strength of Pitbulls comes in numbers. Two Pitbulls can take down a Scorpion tank and Banshee. Ability to fire while moving allows Pitbulls to attack retreating ground vehicles and maintain pressure even when it is moving to more advantageous position. The raider also allows multiple Pitbulls to attack even when they are on a single tile.

Pitbulls are especially effective against aircraft, since those can't body-block ground units. The raider allows to attack them as they are retreating. Fully utilize the raider, the Pitbull should not be ordered to attack it directly, but to move ahead of the retreating aircraft.

Pitbulls tend to assume a support role, be it protecting Predator tank from Banshees, blocking Chemical warriors from getting near Snipers, or helping Missile squad to deal with Cyberwheels.

Main threats to Pitbulls are infantry, heavy armor and heavy aircraft, as well as lighter high damage vehicles, like Giga-cannon and M.L.R.S. and burst damage units, like Stealth tank.
