The Pulverizer is a cut GDI artillery unit, originally planned to appear in Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight.
The Pulverizer fired shells which burrowed underground to the target. The shells exploded and damaged the target from beneath. This burrowing also made it difficult to tell where the shell came from.[1]
This unit appears as the Nod Underminer in the final version of the game.
