He wanted his country to help America fight the Soviet Union, but the Soviets had two nuclear missile silos deployed near the German-Polish border that kept him, as well as Germany and Great Britain, from fighting. The French were anxious that the Soviets would use those nukes on France like they used them on Chicago. Fortunately, Tanya, along with a group of spies, GIs, and crew from a crashed plane near the Soviet nuclear silo base, managed to destroy both silos, and allowed the Europeans to join the conflict with the rest of the Allies.[1]
