The Red Alert demo is a self-contained promotional package of Red Alert 1, released by Westwood Studios.

CompatibilityEdit

To run it on modern versions of Windows extract the contents of the INSTALL folder to anywhere on your hard drive. Like the retail version you need a thipx32.dll file from either Scorpio9a or CnCNet (demo does not support multiplayer, but requires this file) and Windows 95 or 98 compatibility mode.
