The Red Guard is the basic infantry squad of the Asia-Pacific Alliance in the cancelled Command & Conquer. They wear ballistic vests and helmets, can garrison structures, and can be upgraded with a protective uniform system, commission and population control. They wield assault rifles resembling the Chinese QBZ-95 as their main weapons.
The APA urban combat general Beast does not use Red Guards as his basic infantry, employing the urban assault team instead.
