The Resonance field is a GDI support power in Command & Conquer: Rivals. It's available to Cdr. McNeil.

Deploys a mine that will trigger when an enemy unit steps into its radius. Lasts for 10 seconds and reduces Attack Speed by 30% and Movement Speed by 40%.

Game power[]

When triggered into battle, Commander McNeil lays down a mine on the targeted hex which has two states: Inactive and Active. Although he cannot be placed directly on pads, his effect is best in protecting other GDI units by slowing down Nod opponents. While inactive, McNeil’s mine will be placed on the field and as soon as Nod units come into his field of activation – 7 tiles, they will be significantly slowed down so use him while protecting pads, close to the launch of the nuclear warhead![1]

The mine cannot be targeted or destroyed, but it doesn't occupy the tile it's placed on. Multiple mines can be deployed on the battlefield at the same time.

Deployed resonance field mine can be countered by moving any unit in it's radius for a short period of time. The mine will trigger and expire in 10 seconds even if there are no units in the resonance field.
