Riot soldiers are special GDI units used during the Firestorm Conflict. They appear to use a non-lethal weapon that fires tranquilizer darts, intended for pacifying rioters. As such, they are largely useless for actual fighting purposes, although they will cause tranquilized infantry to flee upon being fired at.
Game unit[]
Riot soldiers only appear in the mission Quell the Civilian Riots. They deal a negligible amount of damage, though they would be able to kill a light infantry unit in large enough numbers.
Technically, they are a map-specific modification of the Anton Slavik unit, and can only be placed in the standard game if the elite cadre has been modified or copied.
