Background

The Sandworms are indigenous to Dune. Attracted by vibrations, they frequent battlefields and often devour numerous combatants. Sandworms are almost impossible to destroy, have a voracious appetite, and will consume military hardware.

Game unit

The Sandworm roams the sands of Dune, attracted by moving ground units and can devour them whole. It is possible for a Sandworm to be killed, but this takes an enormous amount of firepower.
