Ren Green Security Card

A green security card

In the campaign of Command & Conquer: Renegade, security cards or keycards are items required to access restricted areas. Security cards unlock doors of the same color. There are three types of security cards, ordered by increasing security clearance: Green security card green, Yellow security card yellow, and Red security card red.

Acquiring security cards are usually required as part of mission objectives. Some security cards may be dropped from enemies.

Locations[]

Commando Training[]

  • Green security card A green security card will spawn at the respective entrance of the advanced guard tower, as Logan is explaining the security card mechanic.

Rescue and Retribution[]

  • Green security card The green keycard is located past the anti-tank obstacles in the area with the encounter with the light tanks.
  • Yellow security card The yellow keycard is in the first guard tower past the Tiberium field with the Nod harvester. The tower is occupied by a Nod officer. It is used to access the MCT in the communications center.
  • Red security card The red keycard is located in the building next to the church where a clergy member is being held hostage.

Armored Assault[]

  • Green security card The green keycard is on the top floor of the Hand of Nod, by the door leading to the landing pad. It can be acquired following Havoc's sniper cutscene and is required to access the ground level that leads out to the Nod base.

The Plot Erupts[]

  • Green security card The green keycard is near the elevator in the Tiberium refinery. The keycard is required to access the mainframe in the communications center.
  • Yellow security card The yellow keycard is in the mainframe room, and is used to access the MCTs of the communications center and the Tiberium refinery.

Stowaway[]

  • Green security card The green keycard is required for the Acquire Prison Security Card objective. It is retrieved from the Nod scientist guarded by a Stealth Black Hand that is first encountered in the mission.
  • Yellow security card The yellow keycard is required for the Acquire Deck Security Card objective. It is retrieved from First Mate Gilligan, who is located on bridge guarded by flamethrower infantry. The keycard allows access to the fore deck area.
  • Red security card The red keycard is required for the Acquire Submarine Security Card objective. It is held by the ship's captain, Stuving, who is located on the forecastle guarded by chemical warriors.

The Grip of the Black Hand[]

  • Red security card The red keycard is acquired after completing the Access War Room Computer objective. It unlocks the door to the Chateau's underground laboratory, entered from the dining hall.

Evolution of Evil[]

  • Green security card The green keycard is automatically acquired after using the control panel to free the prisoners.
  • Yellow security card The yellow keycard is held by the Nod rocket soldier officer in the room next to the room with the two datadiscs in the prison. It unlocks access to the weapon caches in the facility.

All Brains, No Brawn[]

  • Green security card Opposite to the room where Mobius acquires his power suit, the green keycard is found in the corner of the area with a visceroid.
  • Yellow security card If Dr. Schuman is found in the room to the right of the elevators, he will lead Havoc to his yellow keycard. The area is filled with Initiates attacking two Nod scientists.

Tomorrow's Technology Today[]

  • Yellow security card The yellow keycard is acquired from the laser chaingun-armed Nod officer in the room leading to the MCT in the Hand of Nod. The keycard allows access to the MCT for the Tiberium refinery.
  • Green security card The green keycard is acquired from the Stealth Black Hand in the Tiberium refinery, who is initially next to a Nod officer and rocket soldier.
  • Red security card The red keycard is held by a Stealth Black Hand who spawns nearby after the construction yard is destroyed. It allows access to the crashed UFO, which contains the Volt auto rifle.

Stomping on Holy Ground[]

  • Red security card The red keycard is acquired in the laboratory next to the control panels after defeating the mutated Petrova. It is required for the final escape path.
