India is a country in South Asia. The Indian subcontinent is the home of one of the world's oldest and most influential civilizations. A region of historic trade routes and vast empires, India has long been associated with its commercial and cultural wealth. The modern Republic of India was founded in 1947, after more than a century of British rule. Its capital city is Delhi.
Tiberium universe
During the First Tiberium War, India was a member of the Global Defence Initiative.
Chandra, second-in-command to Michael McNeil, was of Indian descent and a key member onboard the Kodiak during the Second Tiberium War.
By 2047, much of India has been turned into Yellow Zones by Tiberium, saving a few areas in the mountainous north which remained as pristine Blue Zones.
There was at least three missions taking place in what was formerly India during the Fourth Tiberium War. The Tiberian Wastelands and Tin City is where GST Tzadik was shot down by Nod forces, later repaired by GDI forces before escaping the area from both Nod and Forgotten forces in the area. Another one was the Giraud-Moebius Tiberium crater where Gideon with being on the verge of defeat attempted to self-destruct his base, but Nod loyalists stopped his plan and arrested him, putting an end to the Nod Separatists.
Red Alert universe
Being a former member of the British Empire, India was likely a part of the Allies during the Second and Third World Wars.

In the African Warlords campaign, a combined French and British force was brought by boat from India to put up a token resistance against the joint Iraqi-Libyan forces invading Greece.
