Much like the Black Lotus, Super Hackers possesses stealth by default and can additionally disable enemy vehicles, though they must break stealth to use their tactical abilities. Otherwise, they behave identically to normal Hackers.
Strategy[]
“ | I'll shut it down! - Super Hacker |
” |
Super Hackers are much stronger than Hackers. The fact that they are produced at veterans mean they already provide more income than Hackers and require less time to promote themselves if used for income while being difficult to detect. They are also much more useful on the frontlines, as they can shut down enemy vehicles in several seconds and need not to maintain constant contact after successfully doing so. Camouflaged while hacking, they can usually gather funds inside the player's base without much worry of being attacked.
Counters[]
“ | Quick, it will only be down for a little while! - Super Hacker |
” |
Though normally stealthed, Super Hackers are quite fragile and vulnerable to anti-infantry fire while hacking vehicles or buildings. Long-range attacks such as SCUD launcher or Inferno cannon as well as aircraft were more effective as they could target a Hacker from outside his range. The Pathfinder snipers of the USA were quite deadly to them as these units could detect Super Hackers and kill them off at a great distance. Jarmen Kell could also eliminate them at range, provided the GLA commander had some means of detecting them.
