Helloooo? This is a HORNET. It's called that in the game files and the Aircraft Carrier often says "Hornets in the air"! The intruder was supposed to be either a stealth fighter, used in Mental Omega as the Barracuda, or the Harrier itself. Sheldonist 13:00, April 10, 2011 (UTC)

The Red Alert 2 website explicitly identifies it as an Intruder aircraft. Both instances you mention might as well refer to the missiles it carry. Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 21:08, April 10, 2011 (UTC)
Also, there is a string for the unit (it can hardly ever be seen, as they move so fast) that says "Hornet", and the missiles are actually tiny sprites that are not constructed like V2s so that they have strings of their own. Westwood made X inconsistencies like that website archive. For one thing, try viewing the vanilla RA2 credits. Under Voice Talents you can see "Intruder". That means "Harrier", as the Harrier is called like that in the game coding. Sheldonist 13:44, April 11, 2011 (UTC)
