When Mental Omega 3.0 comes out, it will have three entirely different campaigns. Should we cover both 2.0 and 3.0 in one article or split them up? Textchat Rogue (talk) 03:58, November 2, 2012 (UTC)

I think it's best to have only the fiscal version's campaign. 2.0 obviously has quite a text on it, but 3.0 will become the most popular version among the players once it's released. Keep 2.0psi for now. CNC1 Nod Emblem Sheldonist (yell!) 07:41, November 2, 2012 (UTC)
Alright, well, I'd like to respectfully disagree. 2.0 was a great mod and will be so even after the release of 3.0. 3.0 will have an entirely different story from 2.0 and will, in all likelihood, also be great. Disregarding 2.0 for 3.0 would be like casting aside Tiberian Dawn because Tiberian Sun is out, or RA2 because Yuri's Revenge is out. We could do with some trimming, but both versions should have coverage. Textchat Rogue (talk) 09:19, November 2, 2012 (UTC)
Yes, but keep in mind that MO is a mod and this wiki is 90% oriented on the main games. There is no reason to create a 1,000,000+ word article that has both 2.0psi and 3.0 just because you like them both (I'm an MO beta tester, mind you). We can follow how the mod has been developing over the years, but 3.0 will basically "overwrite" 2.0psi and will become the only "canon" version in the small Mental Omega universe until it is replaced as well. Your analogy with Tiberian Dawn and Tiberian Sun is invalid, because one succeeds the other, and does not overwrite. CNC1 Nod Emblem Sheldonist (yell!) 16:51, November 2, 2012 (UTC)
