Red Alert 3
It IS clear that Red Alert 3 is not a repeat of Red Alert 2 but rather a repeat of the events of the Red Alert iPhone game. As the iPhone game was released after Red Alert 3, many people believed that red alert 3 was originally supposed to be a repeat of red alert 2 taking place at the very end of the Allied campaign (when the Kremlin is under fire). However the iPhone game revealed that the time travel actually takes place AFTER the events of Yuri's Revenge and so, I see no point in the statement "it is unclear whetever the time travel takes place in" etc etc... The only weird thing about all of this is that the Statue of Liberty was destroyed in Red Alert 2 but is present in Red Alert 3. Possible explanations of this may be:
- The Statue of Liberty was rebuilt sometime before Red Alert 3 (This could be possible, as the Soviets also rebuilt the Statue of Liberty at the end of Red Alert 3)
- The Statue of Liberty was brought back in time during the time travel that occurred in Yuri's Revenge.
- Additionally, The Soviet campaign of Red Alert 3 is not canonical, so I wouldn't be worrying much about it.
It is also worth mentioning that both time travels (Yuri's Revenge and Red Alert 3) share some characteristics: In Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge both factions' arsenals are very similar, although time travel added/removed some units. This also applies to Red Alert iPhone/Red Alert 3, many units that appear in the iPhone game appear in red alert 3 as well (although with some changes) and the iPhone game also contains a lot of buildings from Red Alert 2 (The Barracks, War Factory look almost the same as ra2) and units from RA2 (Prism tanks, Prism towers). During the iPhone campaign the Soviets steal the plans for Einstein's time machine to build a time machine of their own. They use it when the Allies are in the brink of victory and cause the events of Red Alert 3. --CKeen 16:57, March 11, 2010 (UTC)
