Tech Centers provide cutting-edge military technology to GDI forces. Vehicles, tanks and aircraft can all be upgraded. Additionally, a Tech Center also grants access to some of GDI's strongest forces.[1]
Stratofighter Boosters provide Firehawks with the ability to quickly accelerate into the stratosphere and fly almost instantaneously to any location. This upgrade costs $1000 and takes 0:30 to research (Ctrl+D). This upgrade is moved to the Airfield in Kane's Wrath.
Sensor Pods can be equipped onto Orcas to allow them to launch stealth-detecting pods. This upgrade costs $500 and takes 0:15 to research (Ctrl+F). This upgrade is moved to the Command post in Kane's Wrath.
Pitbulls can be equipped with light mortars, which increase their effectiveness against infantry units and structures. This upgrade costs $1000 and takes 0:30 to research (Ctrl+A).
Railguns provide a significant firepower bonus to GDI's main battle tanks and other heavy armor, nearly doubling their damage per shot output. Predator Tanks/Titans, Mammoth Tanks, Guardian Cannons, and Battle Bases all benefit from Railguns. This upgrade costs $4000 and takes 1:30 to research (Ctrl+S).
Titans and Mammoth Tanks can be fitted with adaptive armor, which, when activated, bestows them a significant armour increase and immunity to EMP. However, it also slows their firing rate. This upgrade costs $1000 and takes 0:30 to research. (Ctrl+D).
Tungsten Shells increase the anti-air capability of the Slingshot and AA Battery, downing even the largest aircraft in seconds. This upgrade costs $2000 and takes 1:00 to research (Ctrl+D).
Three veteran GDI Sniper Teams are transported onto the battlefield, without the normal Sniper Team prerequisite of the Armory. This power costs $3500 credits and has a cooldown of 4:00.
This power boosts the firing rate of all Railgun-equipped units by 200% in the selected area. However, it comes at a price, as that firing rate causes damage over time to the effected units, reduced its health by a total 33%. This power costs $500, has a cooldown of 3:30, and lasts 15 seconds.

Trivia[]
When sold, Tech Centers return a Grenadier squad instead of the standard Rifleman Squad.
In Kane's Wrath, the active animations of the telescope and mortar upgrade are broken, due to the corruption of the model during compression.
In the game's source files, the Tech center is called "Armory", while the Armory is called "Medical Bay".
