Introduction[]
Kane: I am pleased with your success.
Slavik: Your thoughts are my actions.
Kane: The time has come to deal GDI a blow from which it cannot recover. Hammerfest must be crushed. It's our last hope but it is well defended. The Brotherhood has been unable to penetrate their perimeter. Find a way to shut their defenses down.
Slavik: CABAL, analyze Hammerfest integrity.
CABAL: The systems are impenetrable. There are no weak points. The technology is without flaw: the human element, as always, is riddled with imperfection. A personnel inventory of the base has revealed an ironic coincidence. This is Jake McNeil. I believe you know his brother. He will be leading an inspection convoy outside the base perimeter. Capture a GDI outpost before the convoy arrives. Attack the convoy and prevent them from returning to the base. You must not be detected. Destroy only what is necessary for the capture.
Mission selection[]
CABAL: The GDI defense perimeter is located here. Do not destroy any GDI factories during your assault - you will need them to build GDI units under our control. Once Jake McNeil's inspection detail is in our converted base, attack! Kill all but McNeil. Use the special toxin soldiers provided to control McNeil. Once he has been "persuaded" to help us in our cause, EVAC him as directed. If he detects the trap, capture him before he can flee the sector.
Briefing[]
Jake McNeil, brother of one of GDI's commanders, will be leading an inspection tour to a small GDI outpost in this area. His knowledge of GDI activities could be of great benefit to Nod's cause. Capture the GDI outpost with engineers, then disguise the base as GDI's and wait for Jake to make his inspection. When the signal is given, use the Toxin soldiers provided to "persuade" Jake to join Nod's forces. Once he is under our influence, EVAC him at the designated site.
Be very careful not to alert GDI until we are ready to strike. If they detect Nod forces in the area, they will surely try to evacuate Jake. If GDI is alerted, be sure to get to Jake before he can leave the area.
- Objective One: Capture the GDI outpost.
- Objective Two: Capture Jake.
- Objective Three: EVAC Jake at the specified location.
