Introduction[]
Weaver: Ah, there you are. Battle Control is finally online, and everything is in place. We've acquired the construction vehicles from the three world powers and they're now ready for your disposal. The postwar situation is so bogged down in border disputes that no one will even see you coming. We'll be standing by to collect the technology of the wreckage left behind, so that soon, we'll have samples of all their military assets to do with as we please. Or, as you please. Good luck out there. We'll be monitoring your progress with great interest.
Mission scripts[]
Dead Meat[]
- Hill: Well what do we have here? Looks to me like a trainee who could use a few pointers. I'm Commander Hill, and I'm gonna teach you all about defeat.
[When Hill is defeated]
- Hill: You've got a few good moves for a little whelp. I'll give you that.
Blood Feud[]
- Shinzo: You have no place here, Gaijin. This dispute is between Kenji and myself. Do not come between us.
- Kenji: Yes, if you knew what's best for you, you'd just stay out of the way. Now go ahead, run along.
[When the player attacks either commander's forces]
- Shinzo: You have distrubed the order of this battle! Did I not warn you? Now you must be punished.
[When Shinzo is defeated]
- Shinzo: Kenji knows no discipline! This is why we lost this day.
[When Kenji is defeated]
- Kenji: You didn't -win-. Shinzo weakened me before you even showed up. Next time it will be different.
Defense of The Archipelago[]
- Moskvin: Your little base here is surrounded in every direction by my forces. So, if you try to leave in your base, I will destroy you. And if you try to hide in your base, I will destroy you. Which will you choose?
[When Moskvin is defeated]
- Moskvin: I let you slaughter my forces on purpose. Because as you were doing that, I was studying your simple tactics. Next time we meet, it will be -playtime-.
Where Satellites Go To Die[]
- Vera: Welcome to our orbital re-entry area. You don't mind if we dump some of our trash in your backyard, do you?
[When Vera is defeated]
- Vera: I should have guessed that being showered by garbage wouldn't bother you.
Symphony of Steel[]
- Kenji: I'm impressed. You have done well to get this far. But now it is time for my legions of Steel Ronin to put you to bed.
[When Kenji is defeated]
- Kenji: What have you done?! Oh, you're cheating, aren't you.
Athena's Wrath[]
- Lydia: You seem like a smart Commander. So why would you want to go up against me?
[When Lydia is defeated]
- Lydia: Not bad. A little sloppy with the execution, of course, but it worked.
Scavenger[]
- Vera: My Natasha has been a little busy on this map and left a few husks behind her. If you two are quick, you may get a few free tanks.
- Takara: My scouts are already there. Don't get in my way.
[When Vera is defeated]
- Vera: Ha, laugh now. But next time… I'm sending Natasha to take care of you.
[When Takara is defeated]
- Takara: I could have beaten you and her. Let's go again.
Offshore Killing[]
- Vera: The Oil Derricks in this region belong to the Soviet Union. All of you, leave.
- Hill: Heh heh. Sorry, sweetheart. When this is over, I'm taking this oil straight back to the Land of the Free.
- Kenji: Could you two take your squabble elsewhere? I'm claiming this oil for the Empire.
[When Vera is defeated]
- Vera: The Soviet Union will not forget this. You will all pay for what you have done here.
[When Hill is defeated]
- Hill: I knew you were all going to have to gang up on me.
[When Kenji is defeated]
- Kenji: Beaten by a woman, an old man, and -you-? Ugh…
Chrono You Didn't[]
- Lydia: Good to see you're still in the fighting spirit, Commander. You'll need it, as I've got reinforcements being chronosphered in from every direction.
[When Lydia is defeated]
- Lydia: Hmm. By my calculations, your victory here should have been… very improbable!
Tesla's Castle[]
- Moskvin: Sorry, Commander, but you're gonna have to make do without your air support on this one. Don't look so shocked. Save it for later.
[When Moskvin is defeated]
- Moskvin: I don't know who you are, or who you work for. But I'm going to find out. And when I do, I'm going to beat you down like the dog that you are… and I will enjoy it.
Double-Barreled[]
- Oleg: So... You've made it this far! Not bad. But this battle will be your final doom. Or, shall we say… Apocalypse… Hah hah hah hah!
[When Oleg is defeated]
- Oleg: Let's keep this one between you and me. If the people find out about this, I will be sent to the gulag for sure.
Out of the Blue[]
- Giles: Turn your eyes to the sky, Commander. I have some very special deliveries coming your way!
[When Giles is defeated]
- Giles: I admire your fortitude. You're not one to give up easily are you?
Fury of the Empire[]
- Takara: Last time we met I was too easy on you. This time, I've brought the Giga-Fortress with me. What, you don't know what that is? This might be fun.
[When Takara is defeated]
- Takara: I lost again! Fine, take the Giga-Fortress. It didn't help me.
Creeping Death[]
- Kenji: You don't have to leave your little base. Let mine come to yours.
[When Kenji is defeated]
- Kenji: [Claps sarcastically] Impressive…
High-Water Mark[]
- Shinzo: Neither of you belong in these waters. Why do you insist on invading my lands?
- Hill: War's not about who's right. It's about who's still standin'!
[When Shinzo is defeated]
- Shinzo: Can this be the fate destiny has promised me?
[When Hill is defeated]
- Hill: How about we do this again on a map where I can use more tanks!
All Guns Blazing[]
- Takara: Welcome to my island fortress! Just come over and visit anytime. Oh, and, don't mind the deck guns. They're harmless.
[When Takara is defeated]
- Takara: I thought you were going to be a little easier.
Show of Force[]
- Shinzo: Kenji and I have made amends. Now you must prove yourself and defeat him before I raise my sword.
- Kenji: But since this barbarian won't get through me, you won't have to worry about that, Shinzo.
[When Kenji is about to be defeated while Shinzo is still present]
- Shinzo: You may have taught the young one a lesson. Now it is time for me to teach you.
[When Kenji is defeated]
- Kenji: What? I was going easy on you so the old man wouldn't fall asleep.
[When Shinzo is defeated]
- Shinzo: …I have disgraced the Nagama family…
The Omega Program[]
- Takara: So, you've come back to visit me at my new island fortress! I'll send my little friend Yuriko to welcome you. She might bring a few friends with her.
[When Takara is defeated]
- Takara: What happened to all my Yuriko clones?! I should've won!
Crate and Red Barrel[]
- Hill: See all those red barrels everywhere? They're filled with candy! Go ahead and break 'em open.
[When Hill is defeated]
- Hill: Okay... So maybe I lied about the barrels. You win.
Are You Experienced[]
- Hill: I hope you've been treating your veteran units right, because they're all you got on this one. I know mine are the best of the best.
[When Hill is defeated]
- Hill: Wipe that smirk off your face, private. This isn't over.
Number One Threat To America[]
- Oleg: The bears in this land are quite powerful. They will serve well in my army once I take them back to the Motherland.
[When Oleg is defeated]
- Oleg: Okay, I'll leave! The bears here smell far too pretty to serve in the great Soviet Union anyway.
No Place To Hide[]
- Giles: Hm, I haven't seen you before. Well if you know what's good for you, you'd turn around and leave the same way you came in.
[When Giles sends his first wave of Spies towards the player's base]
- Giles: My spies are everywhere, mate. Take a good look around.
[After some time passes]
- Giles: All it takes to turn your troops into traitors is a bit of pocket change.
[When Giles is defeated]
- Giles: Well, um, this is rather embarrassing… isn't it. Don't think this is the last you've seen of me.
Two Sides To Everything[]
- Shinzo: The Sea-Wing is a thing of great beauty. It can swim, it can fly. It kills both ground and sky. Heh heh heh…
[When Shinzo is defeated]
- Shinzo: I have seen the error in my ways. And for that, I show you my gratitude.
Behind the Iron Curtain[]
- Oleg: Do you know what it's like to have indestructible tanks ripping through your base like a bull in a china shop? No? Well let me show you how the Iron Curtain works.
[When the player's initial Iron Curtain is destroyed or sold]
- Oleg: Time goes by so fast. I will now give you that demonstration that I promised.
[When Oleg is defeated]
- Oleg: Do not be too proud of yourself. I went easy on you because I thought you looked so pathetic.
King of the Monsters[]
- Moskvin: What? That robotic monstrosity is back?! Well, at least this time it won't just be going after me!
- Lydia: That thing better not get near my base. You guys won't mind distracting it for me will you?
- Moskvin: Hah hah hah hah, good luck!
[If the Shogun Executioner is destroyed before Moskvin is defeated]
- Moskvin: The monster is no more! But do you have enough strength left to deal with me!?
[When Moskvin is defeated]
- Moskvin: So what. You managed to avoid that thing out there. Next time it will be just you and me.
[When Lydia is defeated]
- Lydia: But I had such a good plan. That thing out there spoiled everything.
Reap What You Sow[]
- Vera: It's just you and me this time, so don't worry. When you lose, I won't tell anyone.
[When Vera is defeated]
- Vera: So you won. What do you want? A medal?
Cat Fight[]
- Takara: Ladies, if you don't mind, this is my island. And I don't remember seeing any of you on the guest list. You can leave now.
- Lydia: Oh, so sorry. I can't really do that. Is that uniform military issue?
- Vera: Hey, librarian. Don't you have some books to look after?
[When Takara is defeated]
- Takara: I don't mind getting taken out. As long as you make sure they get theirs.
[When Takara is defeated before Vera]
- Vera: Dasvidanya honey. [Blow kisses and waves]
[When Lydia is defeated]
- Lydia: Perhaps we should have kept a closer eye on you.
[When Vera is defeated]
- Vera: I can't believe I got taken out by some prissies.
[When Vera is defeated before Takara]
- Takara: Aw! Somebody couldn't handle it. Well I'm still here. Who's ready for another round?
Dirty Tricks[]
- Moskvin: Ahh, good to see you again, my friend. I'm afraid this will be the last time, however. For if the desolator strikes don't kill you, my hordes of Terror Drones surely will.
[When Moskvin is defeated]
- Moskvin: What have you done to all my little toys? I will not forget this…
Kill-A-Ton[]
- Moskvin: I have a special friend I'd like you to mee! It's my Desolator Trooper. He is very good at disposing of any extra infantry you might be tired of.
[When Moskvin is defeated]
- Moskvin: You've killed my Desolator Troopers? Now what's left for me?
Caught in the Crossfire[]
- Giles: Well Commander, looks like you're caught between me and that Russian hag on the other side of your base. I tell you what, if you focus on keeping her away from me, I'll go easy on you.
- Vera: Go ahead. I'm right here. And when I am finished with you, Commander, I'll take out that English rat hiding behind you.
[When Giles is defeated before Vera]
- Giles: I thought you were gonna go after -her-!
[When Vera is defeated]
- Vera: I should have allied with that English swine. Maybe next time we will.
Dangerous Skies[]
- Vera: Back again so soon? Well this time the Englishman and I are taking you down.
- Giles: That's right ol' chap. You aren't getting past the two of us, heh heh. …I'm good.
[When Vera is defeated]
- Vera: I knew I shouldn't have counted on that blowhard to help.
[When Giles is defeated]
- Giles: What? This is bloody ridiculous. If that Russian wench would have just held up her end of this…
Vicious Circle[]
- Giles: Oh! [Hangs up telephone] It's you again. I thought you would have given up by now. Well, don't worry, old bean. You will once my gunships start flying overhead. Zhooom!
[When Giles is defeated]
- Giles: I thought for sure those gunshps would have finished you off! How resilient of you…
Gosh Darn Mongolians![]
[When 45 or 1 minute and 30 seconds elapse in Uprising or Xbox 360/PS3 version of Commander's Challenge respectively]
- Kenji: It is time. Maybe you should call your mother and tell her you won't be home for dinner.
[When Kenji is defeated]
- Kenji: The King Onis failed me. They should have destroyed you!
Ready to Roll Out[]
- Hill: So you're back for some more schooling. I already got you flanked on both sides, son. Now I'm gonna squeeze you like a grape.
[When Hill is defeated]
- Hill: I can't believe you slipped out of that.
The Final Countdown[]
- Giles: Tick tock, Commander. I've got a Proton Collider with your name on it, and there's not a bloody thing you can do about it.
[When 47 seconds elapse after Giles' second Proton Collider is deployed.]
- Giles: Another Proton Collider is nearly online, old chum. What the devil are you going to do, hmm?
[When Giles is defeated]
- Giles: Hmph! Next time I'll bring something even bigger than the Proton Collider.
No Match for the Guardian[]
- Hill: I wrote the book on tank tactics, boy. Pay attention, cause you're about to learn what it takes to be a -real- commander.
[When Hill is defeated]
- Hill: Well I'll be darned. One day you might actually make something of yourself.
Your Gold Mine Has Collapsed[]
- Lydia: I don't think we've properly met. I'm Lydia. It's only fair that I mention to you that this island is limited on resources for the two of us. Hence, one of us will have to go.
[When the player has less than 30000 credits remaining]
- Lydia: Running low on funds, are we? Didn't your mother tell you to save?

- Lydia: You're brighter than you look, Commander. It's your win.
Be Quick or Be Dead[]
- Oleg: You might think you have a head start on us. But there's only one of you. Who are you going to go after first?
- Takara: You better move fast. I'm not waiting for anybody.
- Hill: What's the matter there, son? A little too much pressure at the startin' gate?

- Moskvin: I see what you did. That was quite clever. But don't expect it to happen like that next time.

- Shinzo: This island has belonged to my ancestors for many years. None of you shall dishonor my family with your presence.
- Kenji: Old man! I go where I please… and I think this place is going to make a nice summer palace for me.
- Takara: Sorry boys, but -I've- already reserved this place for my summer party. Now if you don't mind…?

- Lydia: A lot of men consider me to be a bit cold. Well, you might want to bundle up, Commander. Things will soon be getting very chilly.

Superb Commander[]
- Moskvin: Well, look at who's dropped by. I know why you're here, you want my Dreadnoughts, eh? I don't blame you, 'cos they're quite powerful.
- Kenji: And as you should know, Commander… a little -too- powerful for someone of your stature.
[When Moskvin is defeated]
- Moskvin: My precious Dreadnoughts… in the hands of a traitor?!
[When Kenji is defeated]
- Kenji: Hmph! You can have the Dreadnoughts. You won't know how to use them anyway.
Battle Room[]
- Shinzo: Today we will fight like samurai. No vehicles, no navy, no aircraft. Just our courage and our katanas.
- Giles: Don't forget our shotguns and missile launchers. Mano a mano, mate.
- Vera: We have you outnumbered. Maybe you should come back when you're a little better equipped?
[When Shinzo is defeated]
- Shinzo: An impressive display. Perhaps you are worthy of the Nanoswarm Hive after all. Until our paths cross again.
[When Giles is defeated]
- Giles: What was I supposed to do? All I had were those little men all over the place. A man like me needs his airforce.
[When Vera is defeated]
- Vera: If I had a few MiGs or tanks, this would have been very different.

- Shinzo: Destiny has granted me many years. And now, I will wait here in my base, and decimate you from afar.

- Shinzo: What are you waiting for? Do you not see what is coming?

- Shinzo: Your courage finally took hold. Well done.
Arms Race[]
- Oleg: Are you ready for doomsday, friend? We will build our superweapons quickly and we will see who survives.
[When Oleg launches his Vacuum Imploder]
- Oleg: Well, look at that, my Vacuum Imploder is ready! Let me clean up your messy little base with it.
[When Oleg is defeated]
- Oleg: What? You're still standing?! Who helped you?
Red Crush[]
- Oleg: Do you like hamburger, heh heh? Let's see what your tanks look like when they meet my Grinders.

- Oleg: Okay, okay, you got me. You don't have to rub it in.
The Motherland[]
- Moskvin: You dare challenge the Soviet powers in their own homeland? Ha, hahaha!
- Oleg: Huh, you must be mad, to think you can come here and take all three of us. Heh, hehehe.
- Vera: If you wanted our Kirovs, Commander, you should have just asked. Here, let me send them over to you.

- Moskvin: I've lost? Not me. Not Moskvin…!

- Oleg: What happened?! It's a good thing my mother isn't alive to see this one…

- Vera: I don't know how you did it… but that was pretty good.
Future Warfare[]
- Hill: What the hell's wrong with you? Apparently, you need another whoopin'. This time from all three Allied commanders.
- Lydia: Of course, you just could give up now and save us all a lot of time and trouble.
- Giles: Sorry mate. I'm gonna have to concur. You don't have what it takes for this one.
[When Hill is defeated]
- Hill: Well I gotta hand it to you son. You've proven yourself to me today.
[When Lydia is defeated]
- Lydia: So… You wouldn't happen to be looking for new recruits, would you?
[When Giles is defeated]
- Giles: What? You can't just toss me out of the battle just like that!
Conclusion[]
Weaver: Very impressive. I have to be honest with you… none of us expected you to actually make it this far. Many of our shareholders assumed the worst after our last CEO's untimely demise. We humbly ask that you consider the generous offer we've prepared. I will be visiting you this evening to review the terms in private. Until then… imagine the possibilities. Imagine what we can accomplish in the future.
