Introduction[]

Kane: We have reached the end. The final piece to my puzzle is within your grasp. Two GDI bases rest on ground I have chosen to be the cradle of my Temple. Remove them in any way you can.

Briefing[]

Establish your base, then build and defend the Temple of Nod. All GDI forces are to destroyed. Kane has ordered you to defend the Temple at all costs, even your own life. Do not allow GDI forces to overrun you.

Mission script[]

[Defeat all GDI forces.]

Ending[]

Kane: Your efforts have landed us here my faithful friend. The Temple is complete, and we are about to embark upon our greatest exploit. For now relax, and watch as my Netrunners dance through the web of cyberspace. Once inside, the world is at my fingertips. Begin.

The netrunners begin their hacking and project themselves as orbs in cyberspace. One netrunner is eliminated by network defenses, electrocuting him to death in real life. Another netrunner crashes into a gateway, suffering the same fate. The final netrunner successfully accesses the Ion Cannon Orbital Defense Matrix.

Kane: The world... Where to strike? Where will the world most keenly feel the blade of GDI treachery? You have done much to aid the Brotherhood towards this final victory. The choice - my friend - is yours...

White House ending[]

The Ion Cannon powers up. It blasts the White House, destroying it.

W3N anchor: ...At the United Nations today, angry political leaders of the G7 nations issued a formal statement denying complicity in last Tuesday's tragedy involving the most famous address in the world: 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, D.C.'s renowned White House. The death toll in what some are calling an unwarranted attack passed 600 today as rescue workers and United Nations teams continued to sift through the rubble, unearthing 12 more bodies from what was once the seat of western democracy. US president Robert Fielding, safe at Camp David at the time of the explosion, reiterated his support of the UN statement despite growing opposition to Global Defense Initiative policies. Fielding labelled the disaster, quote, "a mind-numbing accident".

Eiffel Tower ending[]

The Ion Cannon powers up. It blasts the Eiffel Tower, destroying it.

The death toll in what some are calling an unwarranted attack passed 700 today as rescue workers and United Nations teams continued to sift through the rubble, unearthing 14 more bodies from what was once Paris' most famous landmark. French president Honore Prichard, safe in London at the time of the attack, reiterated his support of the UN statement despite growing opposition to Global Defense Initiative policies. Prichard labelled the disaster, quote, "a mind-numbing accident".

Houses of Parliament ending[]

Prime Minister Francis Weatherell, safe at Chequers at the time of the explosion, reiterated his support of the UN statement despite growing opposition to Global Defense Initiative policies. Weatherell labelled the disaster, quote, "a mind-numbing accident".

Brandenburg Gate ending[]

The Ion Cannon powers up. It blasts the Brandenburg Gate, destroying it.

German President Helmut Bierman, safe in London at the time of the explosion reiterated his support of the UN statement despite growing opposition to Global Defense Initiative policies. Bierman labelled the disaster, quote, "a mind-numbing accident".

Sheppard's hearing[]

W3N anchor: GDI task force commander General Mark Sheppard accompanied by US attorney general Nancy Griffith testified before a senate congressional hearing earlier today. Sheppard, once the golden boy of international diplomacy, wilted under intense cross-examination from hostile senators, demanding explanations for the blast that levelled the historic landmark and sparked an international debate on the need for more effective safeguards in the age of high-tech warfare. Defensive but unapologetic, Sheppard admitted he had no idea how secure the access for GDI's top secret orbiting...
