This page includes a transcript of Evolution of Evil, the ninth mission of Command & Conquer: Renegade.[1]
Introduction[]
Locke: Intel thinks the prisoners were taken to another Nod research facility but so far we've been unable to track them.
Havoc: Big surprise.
Sydney: I can find them. Our Tiberium experiments emit a unique radiation signature. I should be able to pick them up with the Mobius suit detection system.
Havoc: Mobius suit?
Locke: Sydney's been working with GDI to create a powered armor combat suit.
Sydney: I've got a working prototype up and running. I'm ready to go.
Havoc: You're not going anywhere!
Sydney: Only two people in the world know how to operate that prototype, captain: my father and me.
Havoc: [Sighs] Okay fine, but I'm running the show, got it?
Sydney (sarcastic): By all means captain. [Salutes away]
Havoc (to Locke): Enjoying yourself?
Locke: [Laughs] You have no idea...
Scene changes to Havoc and an armored Sydney in a desert area.
Locke: Remember, this mission is recon only. Stay in Havoc's sight and radio in the moment you pinpoint your father's location.
Sydney: I'm picking up an odd power fluctuation. I...
The duo are suddenly surrounded by stealth soldiers and stealth tanks.
Sydney: Oops...
Havoc: Nice suit. Detect anything else?
Scene changes to Havoc sitting in prison. Two Nod guards by his door are shot by an assailant.
Sakura: Hey.
Havoc: Hey. I wasted your boyfriend.
Sakura: He had it coming.
Havoc: You back with GDI now?
Sakura: No, I'm a free agent Nikky. Always have been.
Havoc: So what are you doing here?
Sakura: I need a diversion. You're it. Do what you want with the mad scientists, but Raveshaw is mine. [Drops off a backpack]
Havoc: No kiss goodbye?... [Picks up bag] Women.

Mission script[]
Warden: This is the warden, we have a probable escape situation in solitary. Full lockdown! All personnel, initiate response protocols.
Warden: This is the warden, we have a confirmed prison break. Repeat, confirmed prison break. Assume all GDI as hostile! Kill every last one of 'em!
Sakura: Don't know if you care, hon, but there's a Nod Helipad in the back of the Prison Facility. Might help if you blow it up.
Havoc: Consider it done!
[New Secondary mission objective]
[Disable Helipad]
- On entering the southern prison building
- GDI prisoner: It's the commando!
- On approaching the hologram of Kane
- Kane: Parker, your interface is becoming... troublesome.
- Havoc: Hey look, we've got good, bad, and ugly all in one room! I'll let you guess who is who.
- Kane: You would have made an excellent subject for Project ReGenesis. It's a pity Raveshaw's pet opened your cage.
- Havoc: She likes me.
Cutscene: Raveshaw's ReGenesis[]
Havoc exits out of the elevator. Dr. Mobius and Sakura are trapped in their own cells.
Dr. Petrova, with the captured Sydney and a mutated Raveshaw, injects a serum into Sydney's neck, knocking her out.
Havoc: Dr. Petrova? So... That's how it is.
Petrova: Wait, it gets better.
Havoc: Raveshaw?
Petrova: A new and improved version.
Havoc: At least he's taller.
Petrova: I'm taking the Mobius girl with me. I have no need for the others. Do you understand?
Mutant Raveshaw nods in agreement. Sydney is taken away by a Stealth Black Hand.
Petrova: Look at you. The ultimate assassin: loyal, strong, and mindless. You are living proof that Project ReGenesis is a success! Kane will be pleased.
Havoc: Sure! Raveshaw's a walking turnip, some success!
Petrova: Kill him my pet. Kill him slowly...
