Eva: A US division has been ambushed by the GLA in the Hindu Kush mountains.[note 1] Our forces are falling back with the GLA in close pursuit. Take command of a small Comanche base near Salang to cover the retreat. Do your best, General.

USA Soldier: Enemy contact confirmed. They’re moving in fast!
USA Soldier: Maintain formation!
Crusader Tank: They’re right on us! All units, return fire!
USA Soldier: Where’s our air cover?
The front GLA Rocket Buggy destroys a Humvee and begins firing on the escaping Rangers and Crusader Tanks who returned fire from the GLA Rocket Buggies and Scorpion Tanks
USA Command: Alpha-3, report! What’s your status?
The second Humvee gets destroyed and a Ranger gets killed
USA Soldier: Charlie-3 is down! Someone get those buggies off of us!
USA Soldier:: We need more support!
USA Soldier: Code Red! They’re chewing us up!
Crusader Tank: All units, keep up the fire!
USA Soldier: Delta, stay in formation!
USA Soldier: Gotta pick up the pace. They’re chewing us up!
Crusader Tank: I’m not gonna make it! I’m not gonna make it!!
The rest of the Rangers and Crusader Tanks get mauled by pursuing GLA forces

Eva: General, USA forces are fleeing through this area. Use Comanches to defend our troops and help them to escape.

Eva: Destroy as many GLA pursuit vehicles as you can.
