Briefing[]
Kane has chosen the renegade Brother Marcion as his figurehead. Capture him.

The Brotherhood continues to grow and prosper, but the Prophet cannot risk revealing his existence lest he draw GDI's unwanted attention.
A figurehead must be found to rule in his stead.
Kane, in his infinite wisdom, has decreed the renegade heretic Brother Marcion to be the most fitting candidate. There is but one problem with this initiative - the devout Marcion considers Kane to be a heretic himself.
Convince the good Brother otherwise.
Mission script[]
Establishing video uplink.
Marcion: Congratulations, fellow traveller, on your discovery of our secret compound... (alarm sounds) Your markings betray you as a follower of the false prophet, of Kane! Identify yourself or face the consequences!
Incoming transmission.
1. Destroy Marcion's Stronghold
Nod EVA: Marcion cowers in his stronghold, destroy it and drive him into the open.
Nod Soldier: What a base he's got here!
(When fighting Marcion's first wave of attack on the Nod base.)
Nod Soldier: Kane is the true prophet!
(When attacking Marcion's Black Hand patrol.)
Nod Soldier: Burn the heretics!
(After a Pulse scanner is sighted.)
New bonus objective.
1. Locate and Destroy Steel Talons Pulse Scanners
Nod EVA: These GDI pulse scanners upload every few seconds. Destroy them before they can alert the Steel Talons.
Nod Soldier: Destroy that scanner before it uploads!
(If the pulse scanners complete the upload.)
Nod EVA: GDI reinforcements inbound from the east/north/south.
Nod Soldier: Damn it, GDI!
(If pulse scanner number 5 is sighted.)
Nod Soldier: Another scanner! Take it out!
(After a Marcion statue is sighted.)
New bonus objective.
2. Destroy Marcion's Statues
Nod EVA: Marcion's Statues are but momuments to his own hubris. Destroy them.
Nod Soldier: Look at them statues!
(After one of the Marcion statues is destroyed.
Nod Soldier: Ha! Watch 'em fall!
(After Marcion's stronghold is destroyed.)

2. Destroy Marcion's Escort
Nod EVA: Marcion is escaping. Eliminate his escort, and the heretic will be ours.
Nod Soldier: He's escaping! Coward!
(After Marcion's escort is destroyed.)

3. Escort Marcion's Transport to the Evac Zone
Nod EVA: Kane demands Marcion be taken alive. Guide his transport to the evac zone.
(If the Steel Talons transport attack force is sighted.)
Nod Soldier: Steel Talons! They are after Marcion, protect him!
(If the player attacks Marcion's transport.)
Nod Soldier: Shoot that transport again and Kane will skin you himself!
(If Marcion's transport takes damage.)
Nod Soldier: Protect that transport! Kane wants him alive!
(If Marcion's transport health drops below 75% or 50%.)
Nod EVA: Marcion's transport is taking damage.
(If Marcion's transport health drops below 25%.)
Nod EVA: Transport status critical.
(If Marcion's transport health drops below 25%.)
Nod EVA: Marcion's transport has been destroyed. The false prophet is dead. Mission failed.
(If Marcion's transport leaves the mission area.)
Nod EVA: Marcion has fled. Mission failed.

Primary Objectives[]
- Destroy Marcion's Stronghold
- Marcion cowers in his Stronghold. Destroy it and lure the heretic into the open.
- Destroy Marcion's Escort
- The coward Marcion is attempting to flee. Destroy his Escort and he will have no choice but to surrender.
- Escort Marcion's Transport to the Evac Zone
- Marcion is ours now, but his very presence on the battlefield puts him at risk. Get him to the Evac Zone.
Secondary Objectives[]
- Locate and Destroy Steel Talons Pulse Scanners
- The Steel Talons have placed Pulse Scanners throughout the battlefield. The Black Hand have circumvented them, but they can still detect our forces. Destroy them before they transmit.
- Destroy Marcion's Statues
- Marcion's Statues are but momuments to his own hubris. Destroy them.
