This page includes a transcript of Power Play, the third Allied mission of Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 - Yuri's Revenge.[1]
Introduction[]
Eva: We're receiving a streaming video feed via satellite uplink, Commander. It's from Chairman Bing, the trillionaire CEO of the Massivesoft Corporation in Seattle, Washington. I'm patching it through now.
Transmission cuts to Bing.
Bing: I don't know how long I'll be able to stay online. Yuri's forces are crawling all over the Massivesoft campus. He's built a nuclear missile silo and he's threatening to nuke Seattle unless I fund his war effort. He's also forcing our R&D department in some sort of special project. Looks to me like it's some genetic software.
Transmission cuts out.

- Operation: Power Play - Location: Seattle, Washington
- Objective 1: Destroy Yuri's Nuclear Silo
- Objective 2: Liberate the Massivesoft Campus
Briefing[]
Now that we've destroyed Yuri's primary source of funds, the madman has decided to take a more direct approach. Yuri has set up a Nuclear Silo in Seattle and is using it to extort money and technical expertise from the Massivesoft Corporation. We must save the city and Massivesoft from Yuri's nuclear threat.
Mission script[]
Mission start[]
Establishing battlefield control, stand by...
- Incoming transmission...
- Carville: Satellite recon confirms that Yuri has got an operational silo in the area.
Carville: Taking out those nukes is priority one! We have our own superweapon: one of Einstein's weather control machines. Use it on that base, pronto!
Eva: This is the Space Needle, Commander. Garrisoning some GIs here will give us an excellent view of the city and will allow us to better see what Yuri's forces are doing.
Eva: Be careful when you approach the Massivesoft Campus, sir. Yuri has guard units surrounding the main building. We can't afford to be caught by surprise.
Battle control online.
Objective 1[]
[Objective: Destroy Yuri's Nuclear Silo]
- Incoming transmission... (if Lightning Storm is casted on Yuri's base, unused)
- Yuri: Attention, Allied commander. Your unprovoked attack will not go unpunished. Seattle is mine. Pull your forces out of the area, or I will launch a nuclear strike and reduce the city to ash!
Yuri launches a nuke at the player's base, destroying the power plants and disabling the Weather Control Device.
- Incoming transmission... (unused)
- Eva: Yuri's nuclear strike has severely crippled our base, Commander. If you capture several power plants, you might be able to bring the Weather Control Device back online and strike back.
Eva: Sir, we need more power to bring the Weather Control Device back online.
- On capturing enough power plants
- Eva: Excellent work Commander, our Weather Controller is back online. Be careful, I'm sure Yuri will be trying to knock our power back.
Yuri: Why did you insist on interfering?
Eva: Congratulations Commander, we're bringing in snipers to help you hold the plant. Yuri's certain to try and make a grab for it.
- When Yuri fires and lands the nuke for the third time
- Eva: Yuri is taking the city apart piece by piece, Commander. You've got to take out the nuclear silo.
