[Trinity, New Mexico. 1946.]
Einstein: Stop playing with that thing!
Assistant: Uh, I just got to adjust this...
Einstein: Give me the sequence calculations. Now!
Assistant: They're already done.
Einstein seats himself in the time machine, does final checks on calculations
Einstein: I wonder if it will be raining...
Assistant: Stand by.
Time machine activates. Einstein is transported to the past.
[Landsberg, Germany. 1924.]
Adolf Hitler, after being released from prison, whistles to himself.
Einstein: Herr Hitler!
Hitler: Ja? Was ist los? Ich habe keine zeit herumzustehen!
Einstein: Ja, ich verstehe...
Einstein reaches out for a supposed handshake. Hitler is erased from the timeline. Einstein then returns to the present.[note 1]
Assistant: Did you find him?
Einstein: Hitler... is out of the way...
Assistant: Congratulations! With Hitler removed-
Einstein: Time will tell. Sooner or later, time will tell...
