Lin Zhong: Greetings, Comrade General. I am Lin Zhong, your senior intelligence officer. Today as we claim our rightful place among the world's leading nations, your troops will provide security for the glorious display of our military strength. The People's Army will not tire in our pursuit of the terrorist enemy.

[Chinese Military Parade, Beijing]
[The Dragon Awakes]
A Chinese military parade is held next to Tiananmen Square; the March of the Volunteers plays in the background.
GLA terrorist: We are in position, is it time?
GLA terrorist: The package has been secured and will arrive as planned. Proceed with the attack.
A group of bomb-laden cars drive into the parade, followed by an assault of rebels and rocket buggies. Civilians panic and flee while the Chinese troops fire back.
Chinese soldier: GLA ambush! All units return fire!
Chinese soldier: There are too many of them, we must retreat!
A truck with a large payload approaches the square.
GLA terrorist: VICTORY IN DEATH!
A nuclear blast is triggered, annihilating the Forbidden City and much of the Chinese forces in the area.
Gameplay[]
Lin: The GLA hope to deter us with their cowardly attack. We will strike back and destroy the GLA. Make them pay, General.
[MISSION OBJECTIVE]
[Destroy the Nuclear Warhead Storage Facility]
Lin: A few tanks survived, General. Our Battlemaster tanks are vastly superior to anything the GLA throws against us. Like many of our units, they are most effective in large groups.
China Command: Enemy units destroyed, all units advance! GLA detected in force across the bridge.
Lin: General, keep your forces back. A fire strike is on the way. Tiger Wing, we have pulled up from the area, you are now cleared to commence your attack.
Tiger Wing: Tiger Wing inbound. Targets acquired. Tiger Wing attack!
Lin: One final task remains, General. Destroy the weapons stockpile to deny the GLA control of our nuclear arsenal.
