Briefing

EVA: Our sources indicate that Kane is preparing to give a speech to the crowds massing around the Scrin Tower. Colonel James believes this is our one chance to eliminate the Nod leader and put an end to his plans. She herself will be pulling the trigger - she is already on site in a customized battle suit. We need to make sure that the Colonel makes it in and out safely.

James: Alright Commander, here's the plan: I'm heading to the research facility to get a good vantage point. With Kane on sight, we should expect a lot of Nod resistance. Keep them occupied until I can make my way there.

James: You take the lead, Commander. I'll be right behind you.

[New Primary Objective]

Escort Colonel James to Sniper Spot

[Kane leaves in: 30:00]

James (unit): You're doing great, Commander. Just a little bit further, we'll be able to get out of here.

On reaching the research facility

James: Nod really did a number on this place. I'm going to head into the central command building to see if I can get the door to the catwalk open.

James: They're blowing up Tiberium crystals and using the resulting ion storms to block your path. I'll try to slow them down so you can get across and take out their tunnel networks.

On escorting James to second sniper spot

James: We've got to take out those laser fences if we want a clean shot. The TCN Node seems to be offline. Reactivating it should send out an EMP burst, they could take the fences down.

[New Primary Objective]

Activate TCN Node

James: They're really going all out. We're going to need some support here.
James: This is Colonel James calling in for Crawler reinforcements. Targets are painted at my location. Drop now.
GDI forces are dropped throughout the outskirts of the TCN Node's defenses.

On capturing and activating the TCN Node

The TCN Node emits an EMP burst, disabling the laser fences.

James: I've Kane in my sights.
