This page includes a transcript of Unintended Consequences, the concluding cutscene to the Sarajevo mission in the GDI campaign of Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars.[1]

Description[]

The Ion Cannon takes out Temple Prime in Sarajevo and triggers a huge Liquid Tiberium Explosion; William Frank reports on the aftermath.

Transcript[]

The Ion Cannon strikes Temple Prime, detonating the liquid Tiberium deposits underneath, producing a massive explosion covering the entire eastern Mediterranean in Tiberium fallout. Ionizing Tiberium vapours are launched high above the atmosphere.

[TOP STORY]

Frank: Although Kane and much of his Inner Circle are believed to have been killed, the explosion also detonated a liquid Tiberium deposit hidden beneath the Temple itself, producing deadly fallout and radiation levels over most of Eastern Europe. It is still unclear at this time if this was an accident or a final desperate act of terrorism by Kane. So far the only response from GDI has been this statement from Acting Director Boyle.

[Director Redmond Boyle]
[Washington, D.C.]

Boyle: All those innocent lives lost, just unthinkable... but if there's a silver lining to this terrible tragedy, it's the fact that Kane's reign of terror has finally ended, and for that I think we should all be eternally grateful.

The crowd of reporters ask Boyle for more questions, but he walks off and ignores.
