Introduction

Grounded

The Kodiak is grounded in the midst of an ion storm.

Brink: All external systems are blind, sir. The ship's status is not operational until the ion storm passes.

McNeil heads over to Chandra, and slams his fist in frustration.

McNeil: Damn this storm! Not now.

Time You Saw the Future

Kane: I can't wait forever, McNeil. If I must take the fight to you-

Umagon: It's a fight you will lose.

Kane turns around to Umagon, visibly scarred. He grins.

Kane: I've already won the fight. As we speak, the Earth is transforming itself into a virgin paradise... an Eden, awaiting the birth of a new race... A race in which you will be the newest member in a matter of hours.

Umagon: McNeil will come... He stopped your missiles, he'll stop you.

Kane: It's time you saw the future, while you still have human eyes...

Kane turns Umagon around to present his newest weapon.

Kane: I have concentrated enough Tiberium in this single warhead to convert the entire planet!

Umagon: You'll never fire it!

Kane: You should pray that I do. I doubt that you've much of a life for a freak like you in GDI's sanitized world.

Kane: Prepare the patient for her final Tiberium enhancement.

Two Nod soldiers arrive to prepare Umagon.

Kane: ...and let's send a little welcoming party for her friends.

Kodiak Under Attack

Chandra: What is that?

The crew gets an alert that Nod forces have surrounded and are converging on the Kodiak.

McNeil: We better get hot, right now!-

The Kodiak is hit.

McNeil: Battle stations! Protect the Kodiak at all costs!

Mission selection

EVA: Be advised: Kane is determined to destroy you. The ion storm has grounded the Kodiak. We must protect it until the storm abates. Production will be limited. There is a high probability of equipment malfunction. Caution is advised.

Briefing

BE ADVISED: Kane is determined to destroy you. He knows Kodiak cannot lift off during an ion storm and has chosen this moment to attack. The Kodiak must be protected until the storm abates. The storm will interfere with certain types of equipment so expect some malfunction.

• Objective One: Protect the Kodiak at all costs.
• Objective Two: Destroy all Nod forces.
