The Tanya (RA Universe) article speaks for itself. It's the line of the character Tanya in RA1, RA2, etc.

The other one.. is the Tanya in Red Alert 1. Just that one. Tiberium universe. RA1 ís the prequel *sort of* to Tiberian Dawn. That's why there are no references of RA2 in that article. AthCom 08:52, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Hi, welcome to Command and Conquer Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the RA3:Main Page page.

Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything! -- AthCom (Talk) 07:10, 16 April 2009

RA3 Faction Avatars

Those were just the avatars given out by EA (at some time.. I don't know why they distributed them anymore), but sorry, I don't have them any larger than that. AthCom 08:54, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Contents Box.

Can you give me an example of what you're looking for? ;) AthCom 10:02, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Ah, well. On my talk page, it just appeared. I'm not that much of a computer professor; I'm more of a layperson in that area of expertise. Perhaps you could ask Mikael the how and what. ;p AthCom 09:37, 5 May 2009 (UTC)

Categorization

Yes, to add an image to a category you can add the in the description. Also be sure to check out the revamped article writing guidelines in the help section.

It's ok to leave a message on my CnC wiki talk page. I'll get a notice that a message has been left no matter which wiki I sign in on.

Cheers and thanks for taking an interest! - Meco (talk) 07:18, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Image clarification

Ah, when categorizing you need to add the categorization code, which looks like (see Help:Category). Categorizing pages and files works the same way.

If you look in Category:Soviet images you can see the format. Note the capitalization.

You're getting the hang of naming files, but you've gone a bit overboard. For example: BadgerBomber_RA3PremiereEditionBonusDisk_Cncpt1.jpg should just be BadgerBomber_RA3_Cncpt1.jpg. We add the Premiere Edition Bonus Disk part in the image description.

Keep up the good work. Cheers! - Meco (talk) 03:31, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

CharBox

My first objective is to remove the char infobox duplication and replace them with a template with a easier to use, shortened name. (I hope to do rename every template like this: <function>Box.) The look-and-feel is not final, it was something to get started with.

For the CharBox, I'd like the final to be a fusion Template:Unit and some of the "behind-the-scenes" features integrated into CharBox, like selectable colours and complete data optionality. This is something I have not had time to return to.

Once we are comfortable with CharBox' look and feel we will be using it for all infoboxes to ensure uniformity. So don't get too comfortable with anything else just yet. :)

Please leave CnC related messages on my CnC talk page, not my Wikia talk page. Thanks! - Meco (talk) 02:56, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

That's the idea! I've fiddled around with CharBox but the changes haven't made their way to the rest of the wiki yet (servers are still updating.) If you want to see how it looks now use the "preview" function in the editing screen. Feel free to fiddle around with it if there's more that needs to be done. - Meco (talk) 04:57, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

RE: Congrats

Thanks. (: AthCom 21:34, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

It's a nice job. Want to be a sysop? I guess you've earned it. The others are: Tkangaru, Meco and Saffy Nurbs. I'm guessing that with 4 sysops, this place is going to run more smoothly. 4 Will also be the max. AthCom 08:21, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Information boxes

Hi! I've spend the last bit upgrading the SC wiki infoboxes to see how the upgraded look works out. Currently only CharBox and UnitBox are upgraded on the CnC wiki. If there are no complaints about the look-and-feel, I think we're ready to start porting the relevant ones over. A few of the objectives is to have a unified look-and-feel, and to have all side infoboxes be named "<function>Box".

To that end, I think the CnC wiki is ready to receive FactionBox, BattleBox, and WarBox.

The conversions aren't simply copying and pasting. Some variables and their display code aren't needed here on the CnC wiki and must be removed. Conversely there may be some things that need adding. Also, the way the background colour is selected may need to be modified. CharBox and UnitBox on the CnC wiki already show how to do this.

Naturally there will then come the grunt work to convert uses of the old templates to the new templates, but since almost all articles are in need of complete overhaul, this can be merged into a general improvement effort.

Think you can take a shot at this? Cheers! - Meco (talk) 10:43, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
