The Y-8 transport plane served as China's primary multipurpose transport aircraft during the events of the GLA Conflict. Reasonably speedy and armored, these planes served the PLA well during their various operations over the course of the war.
Game unit[]
An equivalent to the American C-130 Hercules, the Y-8 is a reasonably durable transport aircraft called in to deliver various equipment - most often troops - to the field. They are most frequently called in to paradrop tanks under General Kwai, or infantry teams under General Fai, but also parachute combat vehicles to the field for all Chinese generals who have captured a Tech Reinforcement Pad.
Aside from delivering reinforcements, the Y-8 are also used to deploy minefields and the Chinese EMP bomb directly onto the battlefield.
