The Sky Sentry is a GDI spy satellite mentioned in Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars and its expansion, Kane's Wrath.
History
In March 2047, a produce delivery truck was stopped by GDI Zone Security in North Carolina. The truck was revealed to be a Nod vehicle, and the driver detonated it before it could be searched. After the incident, InOps turned Sky Sentry onto the area and discoverred a high-output subterranean energy grid.[1]
A GDI Commander assigned to the eastern seaboard of the United States led a small force to scout the area, and discovered that the energy grid was part of a massive Nod base. The Commander was able to destroy the base with an ion cannon strike.[2]
In-game
In the Global Conquest mode of Kane's Wrath the Sky Sentry is a support power provided by the A-SAT defense center strategic building. It temporarily reveals all stealthed Nod bases worldwide.
